Savory Cheddar & Bacon Dutch Baby

A deliciously fluffy Dutch baby with savory cheddar and crispy turkey bacon.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  4. Add butter to a cast iron skillet and place it in the oven until the butter is melted and bubbly.
  5. Pour the batter into the skillet, top with shredded cheddar cheese and cooked bacon.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
  7. Slice and serve warm.
