Pumpkin Pot de Crème

A creamy and delicious pumpkin pot de crème that perfectly captures the flavors of fall.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, heavy cream, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Fill the baking dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before refrigerating.
  7. Serve chilled, topped with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
  • You can top it with crushed ginger snaps for added texture.
