  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Thinly slice the russet potatoes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, garlic, salt, black pepper, and thyme and heat until just simmering.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the potato slices, then pour a portion of the cream mixture over them, followed by a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  5. Repeat until all potatoes are layered, finishing with cream and a generous amount of Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
