Creamy Tomato Garlic Pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, and cream, and stir in Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and turkey bacon, and mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, feel free to add more heavy cream.
