  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak for 30 minutes.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the pot, stirring for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Drain the soaked rice and add to the pot, stirring to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  6. Cover and reduce heat, letting it cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is fluffy and has absorbed the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper before serving.
