Classic Stuffed Peppers

Delicious and healthy stuffed peppers filled with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
  4. Add the cooked rice, chicken ham, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the turkey mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • These stuffed peppers can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
