  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic until fully cooked.
  4. Drain excess fat, then add beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  5. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cooked macaroni and cheddar cheese until smooth.
