Apple Cider Sourdough Donut Quick Bread

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the apple cider and sourdough starter until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the apple cider mixture, and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
