Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the apples.
  3. In a bowl, mix sugars and cinnamon with sliced apples.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  6. Add the flour mixture gradually to the butter mixture.
  7. Fold in the apple mixture.
  8. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow cooling before slicing into bars.
